Janet Harrison Buckley

Janet Buckley currently serves as Vice President for Administration and is one of four founding members of Van Scoyoc Associates.

Mrs. Buckley was educated in New York and moved to the Washington area after being recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency. After leaving the CIA, Mrs. Buckley headed for Capitol Hill and worked as a legislative aide for Congressman William Carney, a Republican Member of Congress from New York.

During her time on Capitol Hill, Mrs. Buckley also worked for Rep. Romano Mazzoli (D-KY), and the House Committee on Aging. Additionally, Mrs. Buckley served for three years as the Executive Assistant to the Minority Tax Counsel for the House Committee on Ways and Means.

In 1986 Mrs. Buckley joined the lobbying firm of Charls E. Walker Associates as Administrative Assistant for Stu Van Scoyoc. Two years later, Mrs. Buckley served as Legislative Assistant in the newly created firm of Winburn, Van Scoyoc and Hooper. In 1990, Mrs. Buckley helped establish Van Scoyoc Associates where she currently manages the firm's human resources.

Mrs. Buckley currently resides in Northern Virginia where she volunteers many hours on behalf of youth activities in her hometown of McLean.
