Buzz Hawley Mr. Hawley joined Van Scoyoc Associates after working for six years in the Washington office of United States Representative Frank R. Wolf (R-Virginia). Mr. Hawley joined Congressman Wolf in 1991 and served as a Staff Assistant and Legislative Assistant before being elevated to the position of Senior Legislative Assistant and Counsel. During his tenure on Capitol Hill, Mr. Hawley assisted Congressman Wolf in his role on the House Appropriations Committee, with a concentration on the Transportation, Energy and Water, Interior, Defense, Military Construction, Agriculture, VA-HUD, and Commerce-State-Justice-Judiciary subcommittees. Mr. Hawley graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1991, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Government and English. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University. He is a native of Fairfax County, Virginia and active politically in both Washington and Virginia. He has served as a campaign coordinator for President Bush, former Virginia Governor and United States Senator George Allen (R), the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Congressman Wolf, and Congressman Thomas M. Davis III (R-Virginia), the former Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
