Ross M. Kyle
Chief of Staff
Ross M. Kyle serves as Chief of Staff to the firm’s President and CEO, H. Stewart “Stu” Van Scoyoc. Mr. Kyle joined Van Scoyoc Associates after serving for 10 years on the staffs of the United States Senate and the White House.
After moving to Washington in 1999, Mr. Kyle began work for the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs under the chairmanship of then-Sen. Fred Thompson, R-TN. He conducted research for the Committee’s professional staff and Counsel and assisted with committee hearings.
In 2001, Mr. Kyle joined the Administration of President George W. Bush. He held several positions in the White House, including with the Office of Presidential Correspondence, the Office of the Chief of Staff, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Office of Cabinet Liaison. From 2006-2008, Mr. Kyle was the Special Assistant to the President for Cabinet Liaison, serving as a key link between the White House and the Cabinet agencies.
Prior to the 2008 Presidential election, Mr. Kyle was asked to create and lead the White House Transition Coordinating Office, which was tasked with ensuring a smooth and seamless presidential transition. He also served as the Director of Operations for George W. Bush’s Washington Transition Office from January 2009-July 2009.
Mr. Kyle brings an extensive knowledge of the Executive Branch, as well as strong operations and management skills to Van Scoyoc Associates Inc.
A native of New Hampshire, Mr. Kyle attended the University of New Hampshire.
