Bryan Blom
Director, Govt. Relations
Bryan Blom serves as Director, Government Relations, where he assists the firm’s clients with developing funding and policy initiatives.
Prior to joining Van Scoyoc Associates in January 2008, Mr. Blom was a Legislative Clerk for the House Judiciary Committee, where he was responsible for the development of all Committee reports, drafted floor statements for the Chairman, and briefed Legislative Assistants and Counsels from other House offices on the Committee’s legislative agenda.
Mr. Blom also served as a Legislative Assistant to the former Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. From his experience as a Committee Clerk and working in both the majority and minority, Mr. Blom has a solid understanding of the legislative process and parliamentary procedures. He also fully grasps the Federal funding process, having worked for a senior appropriator.
Mr. Blom graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Political Science.
