Gregory S. Van Scoyoc

Director of Government Relations, Planning, and International Strategy

Gregory Van Scoyoc is Director of Government Relations, Planning, and International Strategy at Van Scoyoc Associates.  He also is a registered Federal lobbyist.

After residing for a number of years in Costa Rica and Mexico, Mr. Van Scoyoc developed a deep personal understanding of the challenges of living and doing business in a foreign country. 

Mr. Van Scoyoc works on a range of international and domestic issues, often helping clients expand and improve their relationships with key Members of Congress and Executive Branch officials.

In keeping with his interest in foreign affairs, Mr. Van Scoyoc’s duties at the firm include tracking foreign policy and international developments of interest to the firm’s clientele.  He also specializes in creating and organizing documents to be used in briefing Congressional Members and staff and prepares proposals for potential clients, among many other activities. 

Mr. Van Scoyoc joined VSA after attending an MBA program at the Escuela de Graduados en Administracion y Direccion de Empresas (EGADE) in Monterrey, Mexico.  He has also worked in real estate and in real estate development in Costa Rica and on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

A graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson, Mr. Van Scoyoc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.  He is fluent in Spanish.
