Katie Weyforth Vanlandingham

Director, Govt. Relations

Katie Vanlandingham serves as a Director, Government Relations, at Van Scoyoc Associates supporting clients with a variety of funding and policy priorities. 

Prior to her arrival at VSA in January 2009, Ms. Vanlandingham served for six years in a similar capacity at another government relations firm. 

Ms. Vanlandingham also previously worked for Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., a Member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.  While with Sen. Brownback, Ms. Vanlandingham was responsible for a variety of issues, including all aspects of appropriations coverage relating to defense and veterans affairs. 

Before coming to Washington, D.C., Ms. Vanlandingham worked for a national business-to-business marketing and advertising company in Overland Park, Kan.  She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Truman State University.
