Van Carver supports a number of VSA’s clients on a broad array of issues, including veteran’s affairs and municipal government work. He attends hearings and briefings, researches and analyzes the impacts of policy and legislation, and facilitates communications with Congressional and Federal Agency staff.
Prior to joining VSA, Van worked as a staff assistant for former Congressman Ralph Hall (R, TX-4). He was responsible for making sure constituent inquiries were answered quickly and effectively, and supporting the Congressman and staff with research for briefing memos and hearing preparation.
Born in Washington D.C., Van received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Arkansas. He is currently enrolled in The George Washington University Law School where he takes classes in the evening.
