Ashley Strobel joined VSA in 2020. As a Director of Government Relations, Ashley brings federal advocacy experience in water resources, natural resources, appropriations, and integrative health issues. In her role at VSA, Ashley provides strategic and technical assistance for a variety of clients, including municipalities, ports, water districts, and infrastructure associations.
Prior to joining VSA, Ashley spent three years at the lobbying firm Williams & Jensen, where she was responsible for helping manage clients' federal advocacy needs on various policy issues, including energy, health care, natural resources, tax, and pensions. In 2017, Ashley interned for Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ-05) on Capitol Hill. She also worked on the late Senator John McCain’s 2016 re-election campaign.
Ashley is a native of Southern California and received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sustainability from Arizona State University in 2017.
